The Green Bay Packers cornerback Charles Woodson could be praying now for good luck while playing in the upcoming new NFL season, because he may have run out of his luck after escaping from a fire, which destroyed a whole building but did not hurt any part of Woodson.
According to latest reports, Woodson was attending a party with his business partner Rick Ruiz and 11 other people wearing Brett Favre jerseys at a multi-million dollar home in tony Bay Harbor when a fire broke out. Fortunately everyone managed to escape before the house was swallowed by the fire and no one got hurt, but the building was completely destroyed.
By so far, there has been no confirmation of Woodson’s attendance at the party, but he was indeed on the list of invitees. The party was reported to celebrate a large gift to the University of Michigan Women’s Hospital, and Woodson just donated $2 million to the hospital last year. So he must be there. Whatever, since he did not get any injury, he would be fine for the regular-season games. So nothing to worry about.
